Idealistic Morons are the Worst

Yesterday, I got sucked into the Don’t Starve trap. Played it almost constantly, in between watching episodes of Hunter x Hunter and then met a new friend of Dave’s at Orange Time Cafe in Xiaoheshan. Met a complete moron, idealistic and idiotic, and he made me so angry my hands started getting all numb and tingly. I don’t recall ever being that angry before…it was definitely an interesting experience and helps me figure out how to write people getting pissed crazy.

Today, I’d like to get at least 4 Pomos, which is equal to two hours of work with four short breaks in between each Pomo. Probably write for 2, break for lunch, then work for another hour. I’m drinking some coffee, so that should tide me over.

We still haven’t gotten our AC fixed, arrrgh, which is one of the main reasons why I’ve found myself very reluctant to write, because all of my stuff is upstairs. Therefore, the solution seemed obvious enough: move my writing station downstairs where there is a working AC unit and force myself to write. I’ve got Sims 2 playing in the background, and this time, I’m really not going to let myself get too distracted, although this’ll probably mean that I won’t take breaks every twenty minutes, hah.

We’re supposed to meet someone from the school that I hope David could get a job at. It’s in Fuyang, a bit in the boonies, but if David could get a good job and not have to stress out over stupid shit like he did at Wanxiang, I’m hoping he gets it. SO badly. Plus, it means I can write full-time and write now (ah hahahaha) that sounds fab. I have to think up some way to revitalize my writing career, which has been in the doldrums for quite some time. Releasing something would definitely help, but I don’t want to start editing ASURA NIGHT while I’m writing DARK MOON RISING. For me, the ideal situation would be to finish writing DARK MOON RISING, and while letting it rest like a good (or bad) wine, edit AN. Then when it’s done, edit DARK MOON RISING while writing the first draft for UNBREAKABLE…which I don’t even know what the hell to do with.

Okay, I need to get to work. Probably going to write from 11:30 to 12:30, have lunch from 12:30 to about 1:30, then write from 2 to 3, and then get ready to meet who could potentially be David’s boss who’s supposed to come and pick us up at 5 here and take us over to Fuyang.
