Well, I’m getting to this kind of late, but I have good news.
I both finished writing DARK MOON RISING as well as the first draft of MUSIC OF HIS HEART. Gah, I still don’t like the title, but I have a few days before it’s due, so I’ll try to think of something better before Saturday.
I edited Chapter 4 of THE HANDSOME DEVIL #2 and now I’ll be working on HER MASTER’S MISTRESS #2. I wrote 500 words today and I’ll ratchet it up by writing 2k starting tomorrow, while continuing to edit MUSIC OF HIS HEART and THE HANDSOME DEVIL #2.
And then I’m going pick up EVOLUTION and try to finish the first draft by the 10th of October. I want to finish the 1st draft of HER MASTER’S MISTRESS #2 by the 25th. Considering I’ve got an estimated word count of 30k, if I write at my usual rate of 2k a day, I can reach 40k by the time the 25th rolls around. But I also want to write Evolution at a rate of 2k a day, so I’ll try to write 3k a day, which means I’ll be writing 5k a day. That’s a lot of work, but maybe I can do it. The problem is, I’m going to be traveling beginning next week for Chuseok and I have no idea how productive I’ll be able to be. Hopefully I can keep my same schedule.
But for now, I’m just going to bask in the after glow of finishing two projects in two days, even if I don’t get any days off.
I’m going to spend the rest of the day and try to plan out EVOLUTION and figure out my course of action. Who knows? I might want to start writing it tomorrow, haha.
Tomorrow, my goal is:
- Edit Chapter 5 of THD #2
- Write 2k of HMM #2
- Edit 3k of MUSIC OF HIS HEART
- Write 3k of EVOLUTION
